Finally a chance to rest.

Finally me and Nathan got the chance to have our holiday/honeymoon. The five days spent in Christchurch and Akaroa were awesome and relaxing.
We enjoied our time going shopping, visiting different places, new restaurants, taking lots of photos and spending great time together.
We staied at Oaks Apartments on Cashel St very close to all the shops, bars and clubs. The Cathedral Square and the Arts Centre were very close too and we visited the fair during the day and went back to watch a movie (Topp Twins) during the night.
We had been at the Riccarton Market, Lyttleton, Sumner, Governors Bay and on Monday as part of Nathan's birthday celebration we had a special dinner at Barcelona Restaurant and dessert at The Boulevard.
The last day before going back to Invers was spent in Akaroa. The little french village is very cute and has a beautiful view of Banks Peninsula. The Akaroa Country Cottages was a good surprise with very good service and accomodation, open fire, free breakfast and dvd's. The Giant House is amazing and a place to visit over and over again.
We left Akaroa on Thrusday morning and made short stops in Oamaru to visit the penguin and seal colony where we saw just one but cute sea lion and Dunedin for lunch.
The highlights of the trip were definitely Nathan's birthday dinner and The Giant House in Akaroa. Life is great!
PS: In the next post a surprise...something that I brought from Chch with me, forever.
